WTUE (104.7 FM) is a classic rock formatted radio station with studios in Dayton, Ohio. Its transmitter is located in Moraine, Ohio and can be heard clearly throughout Southwest Ohio, including in Cincinnati.

Briefly known as WIFE-FM, WTUE's beginnings was that of WONE-FM simulcasting sister station WONE-AM which had a Top 40 format until 1967. WONE-FM played Top 40 hits without live personalities when WONE-AM switched to country in 1969. In 1971, the FCC granted permission to boost its power to 50,000 watts and monaural WONE-FM transformed to FM-stereo, and briefly quadraphonic, "the all new W-2". In 1974, WTUE was "The Super Ten Four!" with morning personality Al Morgan. Morgan eventually moved to KHJ in Los Angeles. The station was playing Top 40 hits with live DJs until 1976 when it switched to the new and innovative album oriented rock format under the direction of Program Director Chuck Browning and using the branding "T-105", competing with University of Dayton-owned WVUD-FM. WTUE dropped "T-105" in 1979 and in the 1980s it ultimately won out in the ratings battle. Mike McConnell formerly of WLW-AM Cincinnati and currently of WGN-AM, Chicago, also served as WTUE's Program Director in the early 80's following Chuck Browning.

Sports personality and University of Dayton graduate Dan Patrick was half of the morning team on WTUE in the late-1970s/early-1980s under his given name, Dan Pugh. Dan was partnered as morning host with several other DJ's over the years including Shaun Scott, Dave Luczak, Major Dick Hale and Jeff Curry. WTUE was awarded Billboard Magazine's coveted "Station Of The Year" in the album-oriented rock format for medium-sized markets in 1983 under Program Director Bill Pugh (Dan Pugh's brother) and again in 1985 under Tom Carroll who served as Program Director from 1984-1997.

During 1986-1999, the WTUE was home to the highly-rated Kerrigan & Christopher morning show. Christopher (Geisen) left the station in 1999 and (Steve) Kerrigan left WTUE's airwaves in 2003. Steve Kerrigan died of multiple myeloma in March, 2011.

WTUE is currently an affiliate of The Bob and Tom Show in the mornings and features afternoon veteran John "B-Man" Beaulieu. Christopher Geisen and Mike Thomas also served as Program Directors prior to current Program/Operations Manger, Tony Tilford.

Station ownership has included Group One Broadcasting (Akron), DKM Broadcasting, Summit Communications, Stoner Broadcasting, American Radio Systems, Inc., Jacor Communications and Citicasters Co., a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications.

95.7 Kiss FM

WVKF
(95.7 FM, "95.7 Kiss FM") is a radio station broadcasting a contemporary hit radio format. Licensed to Shadyside, Ohio, USA, the station serves the Wheeling, West Virginia, area. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Communications.

WVKF began its life on 105.5 as "The Zone" in 2000 under the calls of WZNW, with a similar format but without the hip-hop music that had become dominate once the banner was changed to "Kiss-Fm". Once Clear Channel took over the station, its format shifted to play, in addition to the current format, the R&B and hip-hop tracks. This, along with its main competitor in the market at the time, 100.5 WOMP-FM (now WYJK under the Jack-FM format), being reluctant to play the Top 40 hits that Kiss was willing to play (due to WOMP's demographic being slightly older than WVKF's was), KISS developed the moniker "All of today's best music, not just some of it", which it still uses today.

Once WVKF eclipsed WOMP in the ratings, some of the image promotions that ran on the station began to get more cocky about its position, at times running promos wanting for their listeners to call WOMP's phone number and tell them that their ratings were dropping. This tactic only lasted about a month, but despite that, WVKF's ratings surge continued. It was also during this time that Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, which was on WOMP before, switched to WVKF.

Once WOMP-FM folded and changed formats and call letters, WVKF became the only Top 40 station in the market. However, about three months after the victory, the station's frequency was changed suddenly to 95.7 (the former frequency of WEEL-FM), while oldies radio format WUKL took over the 105.5 frequency.
