WQMF is a Classic rock radio station located in Louisville, Kentucky. The station is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to the nearby city of Jeffersonville, Indiana and broadcasts on 95.7 FM with a effective radiated power (ERP) of 28.5 kW. 95.7 signed on as WQHI in April, 1974 as "Hi-95", an automated Top 40 station utilizing TM's "Stereo Rock" format. The first song played when Hi-95 signed on was "Oh My My" by Ringo Starr. In January, 1981, WQHI was sold and the format was changed to Album Rock as WQMF. Within a short period of time, WQMF was successful in toppling WLRS as the top Album Rock station in the market. The station was successful, by having many Louisville radio legends appear on the station. The early years consisted of Ron Clay and Terry Meiners on "The Show With No Name," Uncle Ron's Asylum, & the Rocky and Troy morning show. Duke Meyer and Future Bob were on the station as well. In the mid 1990s, WQMF switched to Classic rock. Source :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WQMF

WNRW is a rhythmic-leaning Top 40 (CHR) radio station located in Prospect, Kentucky, serving the Louisville, Kentucky area. The station is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast on 98.9 FM with an ERP of 42.5 kW. rior to its flip to its current format in 2000 as 98.9 Kiss FM, the station's previous formats included Contemporary Christian, Religious talk and Country. They are also a major competitor for longtime rival WDJX, but counters their broad-based direction with a Rhythmic leaning playlist. WZKF moved its city of license from Salem, IN to Prospect, KY on April 26, 2010, and on July 12, 2010 WZKF rebranded as "98.9 Radio Now". According to PD Mike Klein, "The name change and new look comes along with a signal upgrade and updated Top 40/Mainstream music mix with a rhythmic lean" and added that "The station is being re-branded with the 'NOW' moniker to give a fresh new approach delivering hit music to the people who need it 'NOW'."[1]. July 19, 2010 WZKF changed their call letters to WNRW. Although they report to Mediabase's CHR/Pop panel, WNRW is not included on BDS' Top 40/CHR reporting panel but does contribute to BDS' Dance/Mix Show Airplay panel due to having club mixes on the station. During the late evening hours of June 14, 2011, it was observed that the radio station's website was redirecting to that of Clear Channel sister station, Mix 98.9 in Youngstown, Ohio, causing speculation that a format flip may be imminent, but this might have been a technical error as the link returned to WNRW's webpage
